 Lameness diagnosis
Lameness investigations are carried out at the clinic where our range of diagnostic tools are accessible. We have the use of a hard surface for trot ups and flexion tests and a sand school to lunge and/or ride the horse to assist in the investigation of the lameness. Nerve and/or joint blocks form the basis of our examinations. Following  which x-ray and/or ultrasound, depending on the findings, are used to give an accurate diagnosis. Treatments may be by means of medicating the problem, however we can also advise on and arrange alternative therapies such as shockwave therapy, acupuncture and hydrotherapy to assist recovery.
